About our program

Our one-year (12 month) accelerated Practical Nursing (PN) Program is designed to prepare students for entry-level nursing practice in a variety of healthcare settings. Through a structured blend of virtual classroom instruction, hands-on skills training, and supervised clinical experiences, students gain the knowledge, competence, and confidence needed to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.

The curriculum emphasizes foundational nursing concepts, medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, geriatric care, and professional nursing standards. Students learn under the guidance of experienced, licensed nursing faculty and develop practical skills aligned with current healthcare industry expectations.

Graduates of the program are prepared to sit for the NCLEX-PNĀ® licensure examination and pursue employment in long-term care facilities, hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and other healthcare environments. This accelerated 12-month format is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a focused and efficient pathway into the nursing profession.

Program Delivery Format

Our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program is offered in a hybrid format, combining online didactic coursework with live instructor-led lectures, hands-on labs, and in-person clinical experiences. Students complete a significant portion of their learning through our online learning platform, where they are expected to navigate course materials, submit assignments, complete assessments, and participate in virtual instruction independently.

Because of this structure, students must be comfortable using computers, learning in an online environment, and managing coursework through digital systems. Applicants who prefer fully in-person instruction or who are not confident with technology and virtual learning will find that this program is not the best fit for their learning style.

We encourage prospective students to carefully consider their readiness for a hybrid learning environment to ensure the best opportunity for success in the program.
