PES has been in operation since 2020. Since that time, we have served more than 500 students seeking allied health careers. In the past few years, we have expanded our operations, and have added new programs such as medical assisting, and we will soon be able to offer and share more information about our new programs coming in Spring of 2025!
Our owners are registered nurses with many decades of experience and they strive to offer a professional, humbling, and fun learning environment and teach and train healthcare workers of the future.
Our tuition price is $1500 for our virtual/hybrid program. This includes your materials, coursework, LMS fees, background check fee, equipment rental fees, and textbook rental fees.
A tb test checks for the presence of tuberculosis, which is a required test prior to working in healthcare. We accept TB skin tests, interferon tests, and chest x-rays.Students will upload their TB test into the LMS system the first day of class.
Students are required to put on a professional appearance. We require BLACK scrubs to be worn at all times. No fake fingernails or nail polish. No fake eyeslashes. Comfortable shoes are also required.
We have a zero tolerance cell phone policy. We do not allow students to have or use cell phones in our training center. This is incredibly distracting and causes all kinds of problems, so we have decided to not allow them in the classroom. If you are caught using a cell phone, disciplinary action will occur.
We do not recommend this! We have found that many students who attempt to do this are not successful. Furthermore, if a student attempts this, and is not successful, then they must pay to take another attempt at the class.
Our virtual/hybrid class is not 100% online. This is illegal in the state of Michigan. Our hybrid class runs 3 weeks. The first two weeks are 100% online, and then you do your lab and clinicals in person at our training center and at our clinical site.
We have several clinical sites all over West Michigan that we use for our clinical locations. You will receive that information the first day of class. We work with them and on their scheduled time, so we arrange this a couple of weeks at a time.
