A tb test checks for the presence of tuberculosis, which is a required test prior to working in healthcare. We accept TB skin tests, interferon tests, and chest x-rays.
Students are required to put on a professional appearance. We require BLACK scrubs to be worn at all times. No fake fingernails or nail polish. No fake eyeslashes. Comfortable shoes are also required.
We have a zero tolerance cell phone policy. We do not allow students to have or use cell phones in our training center. this is incredibly distracting and causes all kinds of problems, so we have decided to not allow them in the classroom.
We do not recommend this! We have found that many students who attempt to do this are not successful. Furthermore, if a student attempts this, and is not successful, then they must pay to take another attempt at the class.
Our virtual/hybrid class is not 100% online. This is illegal in the state of Michigan. Our hybrid class runs 3 weeks. The first two weeks are 100% online, and then you do your lab and clinicals in person at our training center and at our clinical site. For more information, visit our FAQ page for the virtual class HERE
We have several clinical sites all over West Michigan that we use for our clinical locations. You will receive that information the first day of class. We work with them and on their scheduled time, so we arrange this a couple of weeks at a time.
